Your Negative Thoughts Don’t Have to Win

You may seem fine on the outside, but you’re exhausted by how much mental energy fear, doubt, or guilt takes up. Therapy is a space to slow down, understand what’s driving these patterns, and learn how to respond with more confidence and self-trust. My goal is to help you build a steadier inner foundation so you can make choices that actually feel like yours.

Now taking new clients!

Therapy for Anxiety & OCD

Overthinking and spiraling is taking over and interfering with your life. You keep trying different things to avoid the fear or make it go away, but most things don’t help for long. I would be honored to help you understand your anxiety and OCD and move forward with your life, in spite of the fear! We will work on responding to your anxiety and fear differently so it no longer holds you back from the life you want.

Therapy for Boundaries and People-Pleasing

You constantly feel guilty and worried that you did something to make others upset. You are so drained but you don’t even know what you need or what would help. People tell you to “stand up for yourself”, and while you agree, it’s not always clear how to do that without feeling anxious or selfish. Therapy can help you understand your people-pleasing patterns, tune into your own needs, and learn assertive communication while still being the caring person you are.

My Approach to Therapy

Our work together will be lightly structured with focus on self-understanding, self-trust, and momentum in making progress. We will use goals as guideposts and check in about them regularly, adjusting as needed. I will be your partner in working on these changes and support you in the challenges (because it can be hard!), and I will also offer gentle but direct feedback. I use evidence based approaches including mindfulness, CBT, ERP, and IFS. My work is trauma-informed, with seven years experience as a trauma therapist.
