About Me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I opened my private practice in 2019, initially working primarily with adults who had experienced complex trauma.

Over time, I noticed that for some clients, even after trauma symptoms had eased, there were still lingering struggles with intrusive thoughts and building healthy relationships. Many of these clients had undiagnosed OCD that had been overlooked for years. Others weren’t sure what a healthy relationship actually looked like, or how to begin creating one. Often, it was both.

This curiosity led me to focus more deeply on working with OCD and codependency. While I continue to value trauma and attachment work, my primary focus now is helping clients navigate intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and relationship patterns so they can move forward feeling more grounded and connected.

Would we be a good fit?

My style of therapy is collaborative, with some light structure, focused but flexible. I aim to create a space that feels calm, honest, and supportive, while also being practical and forward-moving. I tend to offer gentle but direct feedback, and I work best with clients who want to engage thoughtfully in the process and make meaningful changes over time.

Most of my clients have had some experience with therapy, have interest in their own inner world, and are looking for somewhere they can go a little deeper while also making some true progress. My clients are ready to take active steps (baby steps are highly encouraged!) to change the way they react to their own fear, discomfort, guilt and move into a more empowered way of living life.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including mindfulness, CBT, ERP, and IFS, and I tailor therapy to each individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to help you understand yourself more clearly so you can make choices that feel aligned and sustainable.

I want you to feel capable to manage and enjoy your life, and not need to stay in weekly therapy for years and years. Many of clients will come regularly for an initial period of time and then they cut back and eventually only come as needed.
